Volunteering Day
On 1st November 2025, 300 amazing ladies from the Seventh-day Adventist Church joined us for a community clean-up — even treating residents to some wonderful singing along the way! 🎶♻️
Together we collected around 50 bags of litter from Ubberley Road, Beverley Drive and Dawlish Drive.
Want to start your own litter-picking group? We can provide all bags and pickers — just hit the Contact Us button.
Or get in touch if you’d like to join an existing group.

Youth Action Litter Pick and Forest School Activity Day – Beverley Park 🌿
We’ve been celebrating a fantastic few days of youth action at Beverley Park in October 2025 supported by Ward Budget. Young volunteers took part in litter-picking events on Monday and Tuesday, followed by an exciting Forest School activity day led by Nurtured Through Nature. 🌱
Activities included fire craft 🔥 creating natural Halloween decorations using twigs, conkers, pine cones and wool, and even a fun-filled potato hedgehog race! 🦔
Everyone had a wonderful time, and the children and young people clearly demonstrated their understanding of how important it is to keep their local green spaces clean, safe and well cared for.

Ward Budget Fund Project
July 2025 saw the completion of this project in Townsend. The Tranter Project tansformed these neglected planters to bring them back to life for everyone to enjoy. Dan and his family do some absolutely amzing work in the community and with all the local schools
Ward Budget Fund
In January 2025 I was contacted by the Neighbourhood Centre after the previous Defibrilator was stolen and destroyed. I was more than happy to support a replacement. These machines save lives and should be accessible in our community
