Making Great Places
Staffordshire Police & Stoke-on-Trent City Council join forces
Making great places is about creating neighbourhoods where people are proud to live, feel safe, and have the opportunities they need to thrive. It means investing in clean streets, well-maintained parks, quality housing, reliable transport and local services, while making sure communities have a real voice in shaping their future. Strong places are built not just through buildings and infrastructure, but by bringing people together, supporting local businesses and creating environments where children, families and older residents can all flourish. Ward Budget Fund
Councillors have access to £5,000 per year to spend within their respective wards. The primary use of this funding is to provide one off financial support for locally derived projects that meet an identified need and will have a clear and
positive impact within a ward.

Projects funded through a Councillor’s Ward Community and Environment Budget should:
- Improve local, social, economic and environmental well-being;
- Account for any legal permissions that are needed;
- Accord with the law and include activities that the Council is legally permitted to become involved with;
- Pay funding into a project/organisation named bank account.
If you have a project that you would like to suggest for consideration, get in touch below

Working together for
Bentilee, Ubberley and Townsend
Bentilee, Ubberley and Townsend is home to around 9,000 residents, more than 4,000 properties and over 40 miles of roads and footways. As your councillor, I do my best to get out and about across the ward, but it's impossible to be everywhere at once.
That's why I need your help. Whether it's fly-tipping, potholes, broken street lights, overgrown areas, anti-social behaviour or something that just doesn't look right, please let me know.
Residents are often the first to spot problems, and by working together we can make sure issues are reported, followed up and resolved more quickly. You are the eyes and ears of our community, and every report helps make our neighbourhood a better place to live.
