Ward Budget Fund
Councillors have access to £5,000 per year to spend within their respective wards. The primary use of this funding is to provide one off financial support for locally derived projects that meet an identified need and will have a clear and positive impact within a ward.
Projects funded through a Councillor’s Ward Community and Environment Budget should:
- Improve local, social, economic and environmental well-being;
- Account for any legal permissions that are needed;
- Accord with the law and include activities that the Council is legally permitted to become involved with;
- Pay funding into a project/organisation named bank account.
